Liposuction is a surgical procedure designed
to remove unwanted localized subcutaneous
deposits of body fat. Liposuction can remove
deposits from areas including the face and
neck, upper arms, chest, trunk, abdomen,
buttocks, hips and thighs, knees, calves and
ankles. Liposuction is not a substitute for
weight reduction but a method for removal of
stubborn fat deposits that do not go away with
diet and exercise. Liposuction can be
performed in conjunction with other procedures
such as facelift, abdominoplasty or thigh
lift. |
